As much as I appreciate Chuck Berry: I don't think it'd be worth it.
He was in my town too, and I really considered going, but then I imagined crowds of old folks clapping along. and the first rows (which were sold at ridiculously high prices as VIP-seats, with backstage shit and stuff) would be crowded with bank managers and lawyers going "wild" one last time, before going back to sueing online music thiefs and stock marketing themselves to death.
This all has pretty much nothing to do with the great chuck berry, but would somehow have destroyed the experience for me.

I don't mean to spoil all the fun, I'm probably dead wrong anyways.

So have fun, Chuck surely will kick some ass.

Thursday 10 and Friday 11 of January, Eurosonic. It's a festival all over my hometown Groningen where bands from all over Europe play. Gonna see Mustasch for sure.

@ Manurocks, went to see mustasch. They really do rock, was the best performance of the whole festival.

yes! just found out that black rebel motorcycle club are playing the former starclub in dresden. saw danko there twice, and if the thing hasn't changed all too much (it's called beatpol now) that's gonna be an awesome night.

Last Saturday I saw Disco Ensemble (and Lapko) at Ekko Urtrecht, and it was amazing! :D And I saw Loudmouth overthere! But I didn't know of she recognised me... :)

And last Monday I went to the Heineken Music Hall Amsterdam for Distrurbed and Shinedown! Also very nice, with a heavy crowd, but I liked the show a lot!

Next gig I know now is Rise Against in Melkweg Amsterdam 14 february :)
