Just wondering- how is everyone these days? What's everyone been up to lately? It's Beercellars birthday today too- so Happy Birthday Beers! If any of the old members of this board are having a lurk here, please say hello! I'd like to know who's still visiting here. I know a few people from here post occasionally on the new forum, and a few others on facebook - where's everyone else? Spunshugga, Loes, Haakon, Lynati, Tidyman, Dobbs, Loudmouth etc...

Hiya Spun and Esther...nice to hear from you! Yeah, I fancy getting some chat going on here again. I just resigned as moderator of the new official forum, citing health problems; I was getting really stressed about stuff that was going on over there. I need a friendly Danko forum like this one to cheer me up, even if I can't log in very much at the moment.
When I posted this topic I'd just got back from hospital after getting a proper diagnosis at last. Treatment steps up a notch now...I have to take nerve-blockers and increased doses of tramadol, and I've started hydrotherapy. The meds are making me feel a bit sick and dizzy at the moment but I'll get used to them. The tramadol makes me feel as high as a kite sometimes too, so excuse me if I come on here and ramble on a bit sometimes!
Meanwhile, I've been doing some stuff with my local arts association, organising events and festivals, doing art workshops, singing etc. I also joined a community disability group and they want to make me secretary. No pay though!
Still going to gigs when I can afford it...saw the Slits recently, and I've got to get myself in a fit state to see the Buzzcocks in december. I need to have a sleep in the afternoon to manage a gig in the evening these days, but I cope a lot better with getting around now 'cos I've got this great hybrid wheelchair- walking frame that I can scoot along on.

I can't get onto the official danko site from my mobile phone (my laptops been broken since april,) so I've been relying on Danko's sound-guy Corey to keep me up to date on Facebook!
