Hiya Beers! I got my Danko ticket , booked my coach travel, and I managed to get an absolute bargain on two nights at the YHA. I thought it would be a better idea to travel from Cardiff the day before the Danko gig because otherwise, even after arriving in London, I'd still have another 4 busses to catch to get to the gig. Also, I got really excited a while back when I learned that Melissa Auf Der Maur's touring , then found out that her Bristol gig clashed with the Danko gig..but...hooray! She's playing at La Scala on the 15th!

Btw Beers, Slaves To Gravity are the support band for this gig :-). Tommy and Toshi used to have a band called the GaGa's, and I did their merch stand for them at a gig they played in cardiff about five years or so ago :-).

Cool, I'll top up my phone. Only an hour ago or so I asked on the DJ site if there were going to be any womens fit tees on the merch stand in London. I did mention it to a few people at the gig back in July, so I was hoping they'd bring some merch this time and include some 'woman shaped' tees too. There were even a few older female friends of JC there told me they'd asked for something that would fit them. Lots of fans asking where the merch was too. Wow, I'm surprised that after all that, it seems as though they're not bringing any at all...again. Special gig? wonder what means... probably a very scaled down show. Not sure I like the sound of 'no crew'. That means they'll be using the Garage's in-house techs instead of the people that know the band best and what they need in terms of sound etc. Even on support / festival slots they've still had Corey doing their sound...he's practically the fourth member of the band! And I mentioned enjoying the tour journal and hoping there would be stuff posted up from the London gig too ( even though it's the last gig on the European tour.) Now I know why they didn't answer that one! ;D
