I used a very non- scientific experiment to determine my paticular favourite, it ain't easy either ;D. Each and every day, weather permitting, I try to walk our dog, always with a DJ cd loaded into my walkman. I don't own a I-Pod yet, although i have purchased 2 of em for the kids, next one will be for myself ...anyway, since this is Danko Jones i am listening to, i find it necessary to take these walks strictly after dark, after all when people see you bouncing along snapping your head and shuffling your feet they tend to think that you are either drunk or stoned and a menace to the neighourhood, but really, i'm just lit up by the magical sound of Danko Jones. So, after numerous walks, i have determined which cd has the most strutin power, and its close, just by a nose..its the baby that got shamefully left out in the cold by the suits, take it out and play it if you haven't done so lately..its "WSB"

Yeah it occured to me the other day that my two favourite records are I'm Alive and On Fire and We Sweat Blood. Which one is my absolute fave depends on my mood/time of year/position of planets in the sky...whatever.
But they're all great and I'm not just saying that to be nice. It excites me to know they'll be working on new material this year.

All the albums are good, and the thing that made me choose Sleep is the enemy was First Date. That song is sooooo freakin good.
Danko for President!!!!

Just saw I never voted in this.
Had to give Sleep is the Enemy some more credit. Mostly because of Invisible, it is a song that will stick with me for life and I still hope to see it live, with John Garcia.
But like Tidy said, usually it really depends on my mood. Every single Danko album has at least one of those songs that will stick, that I will never forget.

i hear you Rocky! i love to blast WSB on my earphones when i'm walking down to Bogiez on a sturday night (half an hours walk down to the bay...one of the best rock nights in Cardiff) Strut makes me really STRUT ! and when i'm singing along to Hot Damn Woman ...well the look on the druggydrunks faces! 'OMG raving nutcase LESBO ROCK CHICK!!! am i dreaming? have i had too much E/spliff/beer/crack???'....HAHA! they're too busy gawping to even Dare HASSLE me! and thankfully there's knack you can develop for singing in tune with headphones on...honed from doing quite a few gigs without monitors.so no stray cats are tempted to join in!
