shit, all those drugs really fucked with anselmo's head. As long as he doesn't overdose, like Monster Magnet Dave, I don't care. But they'd better BE on that stage tonight!

DOWN was f*cking great!!!I saw Beast before the show, but Philthy, my man, you stood me up! I think I saw you in the crowd though. Were you standing on the right side almost at the front? If that was you, you were surely enjoying the show too. I was standing more in the back on the stairs, loving every minute. That Anselmo guy is crazy and funny. It was an amazing show and I'm still a bit hyped.

I was indeed standing in front on the right side of the stage and I was definately having a great motherfucking time. Anselmo is one of the most incredible frontman around!! I'm also hyped as a motherfucker! Sorry I didn't see you essieklessiebessie, next time ok?

Saw Loudsy, but as I wouldn't recognise philthy if he stood right in front of me, I missed him. But Down was ok, but I left after an hour or so. The video before the band started was fucking useless, what the hell was that all about.

Dictionary Dot Essie : To stand a person up - Een afspraak met iemand niet nakomen.
I had my camera with me, but only to take a picture of us. I can't zoom with it and I was standing in the back, so taking pictures of the band was useless. My friend did take pictures, so I'll ask him how they turned out.

I hung out at the merchandise after the show, but I guess you made a quick exit like you did at the Danko show. Maybe you had another hotelroom booked??? Or another migraine from banging your head ;D

Read through the reactions and damn, what a bunch of strange reactions to Bas' review. Most of em posted are not exactly well thought out reactions too. Writing a good review is also partly personal experience. I like Pantera and the Down cd isn't a bad thing, but I would have come to a similar conclusion as Bas did. It wasn't bad, but not great either. Threatening a writer for doing a bad review (in their eyes) is just about as low as you can get. Ppl forget that writers are ppl too with their own experiences and their own expectations and wishes for a concert. And not everyone agrees with the fans. And if it's offends fans, too bad, but it was his own experience that he based his review on.

Threatening a journalist to give him a slap in the face because of a shit review goes too far, but 'wie de bal kaatst kan de bal terugverwachten'..

Threatening a journalist to give him a slap in the face because of a shit review goes too far, but 'wie de bal kaatst kan de bal terugverwachten'.. True, but it's just one view of a concert. So who cares anyway. I just think threats and comments like the ones posted cross the line. There is still something called freedom of speech and freedom of press.
