do you watch 'the Chris Isaac show' Loes? i love it ..it's like a mockumentary/drama/comedy....really good but it's only shown occasionally and at weird times like 4am over here.not very body clock friendly ! got 2 gigs this fortnight...Howling Bells next week, Bedouin Soundclash (again!) on tuesday ;D.haven't been out for a while 'cos i've been doing lots of homework.starting to get the hang of this student lifestyle thing though....i'll have only one drink at the Bedouin gig, and take that 25 mins walk home to clear my head...'cos i know i'll be staying up most of the night to get my graphics asssignment done on time!

Also:Vevet Revolver in June,Aerosmith in june as well if it is not sold out already... And maybe Fu Manchu in Brussels in May(no Fu shows in France on this tour,s**t!) ,but I'm not sure to be able to make it(workin').

Just got back from Paaspop, we had a blast. Even met Ron Hell from suburban again who was rocking out with Peterpan speedrock and El guapo stunt team. If you get a chance to see the latter perform, DO IT, they rock! Just wanted to let you know that festivals are nice when the sun is shining hard, when it's freezing at night it's a little cold. I had to shake the ice off of my tent. Thank goodness for my warm sleepingbag. I WANNA ROCK! .... .ROCK!!! The daddy mack will make you...... ??

I saw Chris Isaak in Calgary on May 13. It was an awesome show. It was at the Jubilee Auditorium, which is a large theatre (so, basically, a sit down venue). My seats were in the front row of the second balcony. They were good seats. Chris Isaak came up into the second balcony during "Speak of the Devil". He played all of his hits and threw in some covers of Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley and Cheap Trick. After the show, I got to meet him, shake his hand and get my CD autographed. It was super cool.
The next night, I was in Banff to catch the Joel Plaskett Emergency. That was a good show. Peter Elkas opened. Dude's got soul.
On Wednesday, I'm going to see Dinosaur Jr. in Vancouver at the Commodore Ballroom. The following day, I'm going to see Arcade Fire at an outdoor concert in Vancouver. And on Friday, I'm going to see the Black Angels at Richard's on Richards in Vancouver. I can't say I know anything about the Black Angels. I've heard two of their songs on their myspace page and I think their good. And the ticket was only $12, so I figured I might as well just check them out.

Ron and I enjoyed Mr Isaak very much as well! It was a great show and had a little meet 'n greet afterwards as well, got our drum skin signed. Had a fantastic evening. On a completely different note, you Dutchies and people nearby, pay attention, now: HERMANO IS GOING TO TOUR They will be honouring Holland with a visit on November 17th and will playing at the Effenaar, Eindhoven. I have to get clearance at work tomorrow and then I'm sure as hell ordering tickets! ;D Anyone joining?

Satellite Party (Perry Farell's band) in Cardiff arena (supporting Velvet Revolver) in a few weeks then over to England for the Wireless festival ( same festival I went to just for a maybe less than half an hour set from Danko...it was worth it!) this time it's for QOTSA , White Stripes and Satellite Party (again! ) and from chunks of these bands new albums and recent live footage I've heard...it's gonna be one gorgeous summer party .
