Ok, now a litte topic for us who love to know very little thingie about everybody on this nice board of danko nuts... Just wondering what all you guys and gals work/study/whatever with, what you do on the weekends and what hobbies you have. And anything else of interest of course. As customed, lets start with myself. I work part as a construction worker, and part as a Scuba diving instructor. If I don't have a class or something I usualy go out with my pals and have a good partyround and maybe a dust-up on the weekends . In my freetime I dive, dive and somethimes dive. When theres time between the dives I exercise as a instructor for the very sweet martial art Ju-Jutsu... Haii-ya ;D What have I forgot? Hmmm, don't know. Ok, now its your turn!

Ok, what I do... let's see. I work as editor of teen magazine as day-to-day job. Beside that I sell gigs for Erotic Support and The Patsy Walkers and promote a band called Flylow Organization. Nearly every Saturday I help my friend with her tv program called Mehuhetki (=Juice Moment ;D), I'm a voluntary spokeswoman for Finnish Tattoo Artist Association every year, when they have Tattoo Conventions. Next year I put up an exhibition about tattoo art history... AND beside that I collect money for homeless cats and other animals every now and then. What else.... Oh, I write to another magazine, called Tuhma (=Naughty ;D). Its voluntary work as well. But its more rock than my day job. Was that all? ;D Edit: No it wasn't! I'm also shooting a promovideo for Finnish band called LAB (www.labplanet.net) at the moment. It should be ready due next spring. I've allready done one with my friend for Kotiteollisuus (I think Maarit likes 'em?) earlier this year. (Here you can see, that DJ actually wears his t-shirt gifts! I think this pic is taken in NL, few months after my colleague gave him the shirt And hobbies... Can you imagine, that I don't have much time for hobbies! Ok, I paint (with oils), learn to play bass, watch movies and tv.... I think my work is part of my hobbies too. Including gigs, listening music etc. What else.... what makes me laugh is Mutts comics (I collect 'em, as well as Angelina Jolie movies...) . And I love my dog and all three cats. And my hubby of course. And summer, autumn and christmas. Stars and all girly romantic stuff. I like fairytails very much too. Someday I will write one! This is a promise! I HATE insects, especially spiders. I think I've got really bad arachnophobia. And I hate people who're always late and who breach of trust. And I'm always full of surprises, so this is not near all about me ;D

Oh dear, what should i say? Ok here we go! After University (early 70's) i took a job with our Provincial Liquor Board, eventually earning my way to a supervisory role in retail sales. i really enjoyed that job, but, I was also responsible for the every day care of many employees. I was to no one's surprise a 'softie' so i was constantly being reminded by the company to toughen up, easier said than done. After thirty years of this head game I qualified for an early pension, I took it gladly....Since that time i have enjoyed 'being there' for my two teenagers, Ryan(17) and Lindsay(13), these kids keep me constantly on the move, but i luv every minute of it. Also i now work part-time in our regional library system, this is great because I'm an avid reader. Behind all this activity I am carefully guided by that sweet girl I married 19 years ago, she is my angel... Hobbies have slowly gone by the wayside, including my one time passion, golf, but hey I couldn't afford the balls anymore, lol. Listening to Danko, and talking to all you wonderful friends is more than enough for me now, its the best!!! Cheers EDIT: I need to add a couple of thoughts to this boring resume....at the Library its just me and 22 fellow female employees... 8-)and i have found a use for those old golf clubs, yes that's right, i use em to beat those nasty boys who have evil intentions toward by daughter

I'm currently a student at halmstad univeristy. Right now i study Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, and Information Management. Before i moved to Halmstad i studied for three years in Worcester, UK.
My hobbies are listening to rock n roll, collecting records (both cd and vinyl), going to gigs and festivals, reading (non uni related books, i actually hade my course literature right now). I don't watch as much tv as i used to, ztv has stopped showing new eps of simpsons so the only thing worth watching on tv is Miami Vice and Hawaii five-0.
The weekend are usually drinking days if i don't have any assignments or exams.
well thats me in a nutshell.

Immediate Family - Mom, Dad and sister. We live in four different cities but they're all within two hours drive. This is good because even at 31, I'm still very close with them. Occupation - Full-time driver/shipper/receiver for an auto glass warehouse. Part-time property manager at two small buildings. Hobbies - Bit of a fitness buff. Gym 4 days a week, basketball in summer. Plus movies, music and reading and of that stuff that everybody else does too. Wait, no...not everybody reads. Recreation - The occasional concert or sporting event. And sometimes you can find me at the club with a bottle full of bub. Or at this one bar called 'Mustang Sallys' which has the best wings I've ever had. Odd fact - I listen to mostly rap music, but my favourite artist is easily Danko Jones. Sac: Ju Juitsu, eh? I'm a bit of an MMA fan. I know what the terms "pass the guard" and "rear naked choke" mean. I also know that being a scuba intstructor must be a great way to meet chicks. Milkei: You have cool jobs. Also, you should bare in mind that without spiders, your place would be over-run by other insects. Rocky: Two things: 1) Golf sucks anyway (I'm pretty sure I feel this way because I suck AT it), and 2) This board rules. Toppler: You're smarter and more educated than me. I declare you the winner of our 'Hives debate'.

Tidyman: Well i might be more educated, but i might not be smarter. And i'm not educated in the music area so i might be wrong from time to time.

Hey Tidyman, MMA what the hell is that?? "M-something Martial Art" or what? So you are a rap fan, why isn't the hip-hop board full of the written word from you, eh? Answer to your guess: diving is a WONDERFUL way of meeting nice chicks , and if you don't, you can just look at them when they are swimming... ;D I agree with you on both your points: golf sucks (and I too at it), and we should all praise Rocky for this very very very SWEET board Milkei, you sound quite busy! Shooting movies, colecting animals (was it?), writing and all the other stuff. Have time for party? That is the most importand thing, you know? BTW, you could almost say that Danko wears your clothes now, I guess? Hey Toppler my Swedish fellow, how many records do you have? And what kicd of music is the collection made of? Do you ever go to Norrköping?

Sac: Well i just recently started collecting seriously so i haven't got that many records right now just 300 or something. The collection is of all differnet genres, but mostly rock/punk etc.
I've never been to norrköping, i tend to stick to the south of sweden for some strange reason.

Sac: Well there's always the money issue when travelling. And when i do travel i prefer to do it outside of sweden (denmark doesn't count because i go there quite often to buy beer).

MMA is Mixed Martial Arts - use whatever works best for you, instead of just one discipline.

So you are a rap fan, why isn't the hip-hop board full of the written word from you, eh? Because I don't think anybody cares. There is one thing I will write in the hip-hop section - The 10 Best Rap Albums of 2003. Coming in January.

*laughs* well, you did change yer mind about it, so I suppose you dun like it too mucho either.
And yeah! This board really rules!
Anyways, er, my parents are miraculously still happily married and stuff, I have a demonic brother and I still live at home fer a reason I dun quite understand. I study English at the University of Nijmegen in, yes, Nijmegen, 2nd year. Want to become a translator, but my ultimate dream is to become a fantasy writer. I would almost be considered a nerd but I have a very extensive social life so I'm not REALLY one, but I do love reading, playing computer games and doing all kinds of nerdy stuff. But then again, I like Danko Jones and I am weird. er, yeah, anyways, that was me I think. Not really interesting but I've only had 19 years of life.
BTW: I like this topic! Nice reading 'bout ya!

okay the next one:
when i´m not praising danko jones as the godfathers of rock ´n roll, i´working in my dad´s company to earn some money. in next years´spring i will start studying again. i was one year a student of economy sciences but i broke up with because it became more and more boring. i ve now applied for more creative subjects.
i love to visit concerts, do sports(football and a little bit gym) and of course meet the people i like to talk to or to have a party on weekends. for me it could be summer the whole year.i don´t need to have this cold and wet seasons like autuum and winter.
btw: an inner voice suggests me to become a diving instructor......
