Love him or hate him you must at least agree that Kid Rock is an exciting performer. His new self-titled CD sees this Kid moving away from his hip-hop laced sound to a more twangy/hard driving/a little bit country style. One vid out so far, a re-mix of Bad Company's classic 'Feel like Makin Love'...its great. If Santa lets me down, I'm buying this sucka!!! www.kidrock.com
I think Kid Rock is a bit of a cheeseball. I mean Kid Rock Christmas? Come on! I won't say I hate him though. He's almost always good in interviews. And him and Pam were white trash royalty! He'd probably be cool to hang out with but I just can't get into his music. The only reason I could listen to the song 'American Badass' was because he jacked the music from one of my fave Metallica songs 'Sad But True'.
We disagree on this one, rock. Don't worry, when I start that "10 Best Rap Records of 2003" thread sometime in January you'll have plenty of ammo to fire back at me. Just go easy!
'Cheeseball',lol yeah that's prolly the right term for KR. Way back when he released "Only God Knows Why" i said hmmm, this guy should try country rock, he's a natural. Looks like that's where he's headed, imho. Don't know why, but i do like his vocals, and Brown Tucker Band are awesome to boot....Can't wait to see your poll, for I shall use it as a learning experience, cause u certainly know your stuff

I bow low to you rocky, for you are too kind! Twenty years of listening to rap music has made me think I am an expert. It should be noted, however, that I am a white guy born in Windsor and raised in London Ontario, Canada.
