You can always head upstairs if they open it (they don't always) and watch from the balcony. Great, great view up there - but, it's 50/50 on if they open it.

Uh oh. What exactly does that mean? Meaning, not lots of it. The light before the Opera House, if you turn left, there is a lot on your immediate right, but beyond that, you're looking at residential areas and limited spots (though free in the case of the latter).

I know its not part of this thread, but I'm going to have to cancel our drink off tidy. My little sister is coming to the show with me, she's 13. Don't even think of offering her any candy mango... Don't worry though...next show, you're dead .

Looks like the drinkers will have to pick up the slack of the non-drinkers. BTW, does anyone happen to know set times?

Spuns recap: White tuxedo pants, chiffon scarves...laying on the ground playing the guitar with your leg jolting in the air..u betcha sexytime is anytime, leather uppers. Throughly entertaining. Far out and funky. Then the boys came out. And rocked our asses off. I had to sew mine back on when I got home. Danko mock kicked our butts right in front of us. Sung us a luv song, while we booed, gave us the finger, called us assfaces and we ate it right up. It honestly was an incredible show...and the crowd was a really nice mix of older and younger. I loved the show(with the exception of some drunk guy behind me bothering everyone), the band was hot, the banter kicked my ass...I think we should've all went clubbing afterwards. But I brought my sweater, so I was already overdressed. I was surprised how packed it was. Nice to friggin see. It reminded me why everytime I see danko jones live, I fall in love with them all over again. Thank you to the lovely older couple beside me. The husband took a couple really nice shots for me over the crowd, because I kept getting heads in the way at first. I got some really hot shots though. Can anyone tell me how to shrink pics without losing the quality at all? Nice meeting u seankay. Didnt see sway or bombs, not sure if they were there. Nice seein tidy n mang as always. I really hope they have all that sexy merchandise at the next show, because I was broke for this one I need pentagram hotpants. And a belt buckle. And a sexy shirt. They had some kewl stuff. Heres my album (it was supposed to automatically resize the pics for optimal viewing, forgive the hugeness) : usera.imagecave.com/kicks/dankojones/ P.s the funny part was when jc threw his guitar pic, there was a grate right beneath us and it went directly in it.

Spun pretty much hit the nail on the head...I was a great show. The banter was extended between songs more than usual. Nice seeing you Tidy before the show. Spun, I was coming down with a cold and my girlfriend was tired so we pretty much left right when the show was over...we'll all catch each other another time and get a board group shot. Did your sister like the show? I have some brief video clips which turned out pretty good. I'll post them when I download them off my camera.

Well, she said she liked it, but today thinking about it, I feel like an awful sister. I shouldn't have had her in the front, I don't know why I wasn't thinking. Its too crowded and you can't control whats going on around u. She chimed in during sticky situation, so I'm really hoping I haven't permanently scarred her.

W..I..Z... ARD Wizards Castle........
Anyways... talk about a pretty rad show... At first when i walked in and saw 16 year old emo kids, i felt like i was going to die(is that how the emo kids feel all the time? cause if soo.. EWW) . But overall this show rawked my socks off. I met Mango kid and spun along with sis by complete fluke.. mango came up to my friend and asked him if he was on the board and then i found out who they were..... Now to the show I really didnt know what to expect from the leatheruppers, But they ammused me on soo many levels....
Sugar Sandwich, Wizard Caste, Sexy Time.... all so fun to sing along with, and there one stage presence was solid.
Now danko... this was the first time EVER i was on JC's side, and now i see why people chant for JC all the time. He is as good as a showman as Danko. Also, i would like to big up danko for saying Whitby durring the show. It made my day!! The crowd around JC aswell was strong too, no one bumped in to eachother and all just rocked out togeather. I threw out a few air guitar rif's with some kids beside me.
I give the show a 19 out of 10......
a 11 for the show, because the rock world gives 110% and then an extra 8 for the footie scarf that i bought... EXCELLENT idea with the scarf....

alright... better post my review i guess... well what did i think of the show................
lets just say, i have seen danko play 6 times now, and it had to be best damn show i ever saw. the leather uppers were great, much better live then on MP3, and something about scarfs and white tuxedo pants, plays up to the big bollywood loving child that i am, but anyway, the music was good... now on to the main event, the band was red hot, and the crowd was red hot, there was a fuckin fire in there, the band ripped up the joint, i have never seen such a high energy show in my life... the highlight of the night though was definetly when he played mango kid, and pointed to me durring it... i know i try to play off cool all the time but i gotta tell you... it was a really fucking cool moment... another highlight was the whole Ian Blurton/Lovercall moment... not exactly sure about the whole situation... but definatly a very very funny moment... so yeah, it was a rip rock, ass shaking, head bobbing, ear ringing show, it was good to meet up with spun and her sis, and seankeay, and tidy... and now... i am tired again... so i will be off back to sleep...
