Just got back from Tilburg, it was awsome!!! We met Danko and Dan outside the venue before the show and after the show Danko and JC showed up at the merch stand. It was really cool seeing Milkei again, I talked to her during Gogol Bordello, because I didn't really like that band. The first band wasn't my thing either, but Disco Ensemble was good. Also meeting the other Dutch members was great! I wanna thank Remco for giving me a pick Danko Jones played an amazing set, with some oldies, some I never even heard Anyway, I'm keeping it short as I'm going to bed now. Last but not least I wanna thank Beast and Loes for the ride, especially for the ride home, because they will still be in the car home when I 'touch my pillow' in a few minutes. Thanks guys!

You're very welcome. Just remember us when you decide to make a nice dinner On the way back we got pulled over by the cops (that makes twice in 1 fucking day) and had to do the breathaliser. Good for me that I don't drink.

Yeah, it was great! The acoustic performance was also very nice. It's nice to see how rocking bands making the crowd dance with their acoustic instruments. Bedouin Soundclash and Gogol Bordello played also acoustic. Danko told us he doesn't like to play on acoustic instruments, so a person from the crowd asked him to crash his guitar. The answer of Danko: "Yeah that's an original idea!" The show in the 013 was also great. During the show I stand in the front of the hall, and I liked all four bands. But Danko was my favorite! After the show I bought a hoodie and a T shirt! And Danko signed my ticket. Outside we met the guys of Gogol Bordello. We asked the signature of the singer of Gogol. He was a little bit weird, I don't know of he was drunk or something, but he didn't sign the ticket, he scratched the sign of Danko!! Idiot... But after all, it was a great show, and I'm going to miss Danko in 2007!

Really? The singer from Gogol did that to your ticket? That's kindergarten behavior. Next time I see you I'll sign everything you got. Just seems like he's scared. I'll apologize on his 5-year old behalf.
Danko

No man with fluorescent yellow striped leotards should have the right to mess with a Danko Jones ticket! If you ask me. It was another fucking awesome night. Didn't enjoy Bedouin Soundclash too much, too much reggae sounding for me. But Disco Ensemble turned out okay, better than on cd. Gogol Bordello... they're weird! Great show, but I got the impression I would enjoy them more with a higher blood alcohol level. They're catchy though, the tunes are still dancing around in my head. But Danko's show topped everything, as usual. So cool to hear a lot of 'oldies', especially some of my all time favourites like Sugar Chocolate and Bounce. Didn't mind giving Woogie Boogie up for those. It was a very energetic show, and I think Ron's pictures captured the moments really well. I could've done with 2 or 3 hours more Danko though. Besides all the gigs, it was ofcourse so great to meet the band and the whole forum family again, well, whole, except for Philthy then. Philthy, I swear to you, if you don't show up next time, we're going to kidnap you!!! Loudmouth already told me you won't have to be in a picture with her if that's what you're afraid of, we'll just photoshop you in somewhere. Especially nice seeing Merch Momma Milkei all the way from Finland again, the merch stand wouldn't be the merch stand without her! I'm glad we have so many pictures, because I'll really miss this, all the way to 2008. I will suffer from a major case of Danko Jones and Forum Family withdrawl in 2007. So Danko, you'd better make it JANUARY 2008 when you're coming back. January 1st preferably. Please?

And all the time I had to think on a Band called "de höhner" ... ;D ;D ;D Haha, yes I thought about them and their thirsty "Sultan" too. ;D Goddamn what a complete asshole, that singer of Gogol Bordello. He laughed while he did it: "Whaaat, why do you do that?!?!" "That's my signature ;D whahahaha"

But Danko, great show again! I did like the Disco Ensemble, but didn´t really like Bedouin Soundclash. Gogol Bordello was fantastic at Lowlands, but really didn´t catch me this time. I really liked your last part of the show, with the songs I never heard live before. You guys played fast, tight, and didn't pause that long. I'll be missing you during 2007 JC: Danko will be heading for America, Brazil, Africa (?) and will be busy with a new CD. That's why he won't be back in europe until 2008.

Ron and I thought Gogol's singer looked like Borat.

But at leats we can look forward to a new album! I think I`m gonna try and catch one or two DJ shows in Sweden later this month, fill up my quota for next year!
