Did anyone else listen in to this? The streaming wasn't working while the show was on so I listened to it on digital radio instead. They seem to having problems with firewalls preventing Realplayer from playing live streaming sometimes. The playback of the show is working though, I've listened to it a few times already! Danko and JC basically take over a section of the show, spin a few tracks from the album and; (this is the interesting angle to the show;) 'interview' eachother  . Very funny stuff too...Danko, maybe you should have thought of using soya milk; it smells better and dries to a soft powder!  What's a 'shag' jacket btw? That made me laugh, though obviously shag means something else in Britain . |

Just thought I should mention... they haven't updated the text on the page yet, so when you click on the link I gave, click on 'listen again' above where it mentions the Opeth show (which went out the week before) and that will bring up the player for the 12/12/08 show. Danko and JC's bit starts at 2.16 hours. Give it a listen as soon as you can 'cos it's only up till the next show this friday. Though if enough of us request it, Bruce might put it in a 'best of 2008' downloadable podcast or long-term link. I found that once I'd loaded the show and listened through the whole thing, (lots of other good stuff to hear too,) I've been able to move the cursor along to whatever portion I want to listen to since. So you can skip the dodgy Fields of the Nephilim rip-off with custard gargle vocals if you want;(actually it sounds like they're singing 'vagina! victoria! hehe.) Once you're listening to Danko and JC bantering and giggling like the naughty but nice boys they are....take a look at the messageboard. Some girl posted something about 'Dango'  being 'in the business for all the wrong reasons'. I politely asked what had given her that impression...then she posted a reply. All I can say is keep that girl away from any sharp knives . I'm going to need to chill out before I go back in there to defend Danko and JC. I just want to set the record straight about their integrity because she made some pretty harsh and personal comments based on her snap judgements.  |

Listened to this a few times more last night, before it got taken down. Just wanted to hear JC pronouncing 'about' as 'a boat', and saying 'thank you Dankeuw' at the end  . Haha, love his accent! ;D. I remember that cartoon on Southpark...was it Terence and Philip? JC and Danko sound a lot sexier to my ears though. Probably a good job they're not reading this, hehe . |
