Definitely a cool vid but "baby I got a question"...where the hell are these vids being played? I only ask kuz I watch Much Music here in Canada somewhat on and off...mostly off...and I've yet to see any Danko Jones in years. Not since they had I Want You in rotation for a week back in 04 I think it was. Any ideas? Tidy? Rawk

Interesting video...I'm not sure I understand the premise/concept though.

Lol me either bombs. But its something to do with that frostbite video/movie thing isnt it?
I'm sorry, I luv u dj but that vid was just a little too cheesy for me. ALthough I have felt like the girl before on some dates. When your date is so boring that its like youre in a trance, your eyes roll back and your brain wanders. They should bite me to wake me up. It seemed kinda like...Sliver meets Buffy the vampire slayer (the movie not the series) meets the dentyne ice commercial where the guys head falls off (makeup wise). But I liked that it was humourous. At least you guys had fun. I really loved the baby hates me video though if its any consolation. I haven't seen a video on much in a dogs age either djfl. We should protest. I want to see bounce. Or lovercall.

damn you with your cadillac seeing... but the video almost seems like a take on 'bark at the moon' at least durring the 'ho ho ho' part

I thought of Bark At The Moon too MK. Yeah, it was cheesy, but I think that was kind of the point. I love the six-pack of bottled blood in the fridge. Danko totally hams it up in this one. Do I like the video? I guess I like it as much as any Danko video. I'll watch them once every few years and not give them much thought. This one is definitely more interesting than most videos you see on any video channel. Speaking of which, I have no idea if MuchMusic is playing the Sleep Is The Enemy vids. I imagine Much Loud spins one every now and again, but Much has never been all that supportive of Danko Jones, which is shameful. Hopefully I'll see First Date once or twice at the gym.

I'm with ya Spun. Vid is cheesy, but it's nice to see a Danko vid wih some semblance of production quality...that isn't pimping a "serious" Ryan Reynolds movie. BTW Five THOUSAND dollars to anybody that can convince the band to make a crazy video for Sleep Is the Enemy. I've listened to that track at least 5 times a day since I torrented the album and would gladly give up my worldly possessions to see a vid for it. And I'll give my sister to whoever can get the guys to play it live. Don't worry, she'd Totally understand. Rawk

Great video! Danko looks like a crazy mix between Ozzy (Bark At The Moon vid), Gene Simmon$ and...Danko himself!

Its quality shot, but personally if they were going with the old vampire motif, I'd have shot it in the style of the first vampire flicks, or the Hammer movies that churned out loads of cheesy horrors. I think it all looks too slick, it needs to be dirtied up.

They're playing the song every night.
