anyone going to see Gary Taxali's exhibition? it's good stuff...a bit Dada (which i'm really into) meets Popart. seen Danko's contribution ? kind of obvious which bit he did 
. it inspired me to make use of some old stuff i have...
i recently unearthed a battered old school ring binder( circa 1983-85 ish) which i'd lovingly daubed with band names...'Cure', Siouxsie and the Banshees' etc, using tipex and my favourite purple 'toyah' nail varnish ( a local chemist had a bargain bin full of 'punk' make up that i raided regularly)... a snapshot of my moody youth during the thatcher gloom years
.i'd love to put that in a show along with my cassette mixes of stuff i taped off Radio1 alt music shows ('cos i couldn't afford to buy lots of records 
) should be more art shows like that... they could tell a different story to all those post punk retrospectives written by music journalists.
