Woohoo! Thanks Danko!
I'll have to watch it later though because someone is playing Call of Duty in this room and the machine gun fire makes my ears ring.

Thx Danko for saving me the work. Keep up the good work, especially now Dobbs is no more the webMASTER.
Really liked the videoblog, especially the shout out to hermano and brant björk. I've been listening to slo burn and fu manchu lately, so good!

Great episode....its really cool to see a bit of the process behind making an album. Nick did a great job producing, probably your best sounding record so far. I noticed you were playing a Les Paul in the episode....what happened to the Explorer endorsement? haha.

I think the explorer is strictly the stage-guitar right? Credits anyway for the Les Paul. Must have been weird walking through that studio with all those Nirvana memorabilia on the walls. Kinda hard to believe Dave Grohl was once the drummer of Nirvana... With the Foo fighters and probot and all other side projects.
Anyway, looked like you were having a good time working together with Mr. Raskulinecz, funny thing is I still have trouble figuring out how you pronounce his last name. Also good to see Dan pounding that drumkit to pieces. Really liked his work on the album. I also have to give credit to the sharper clearer, but not less deep sound of JC's Bass. If it was your own idea JC credit to you, or else to Nick Rask.... rusk.... raklune..... well you know who I mean, right?

We had a great time making the record and hopefully that comes across on the webisode. You can pronounce Nick's last name like this: RAS - CUE - LEN - IX As far as the Les Paul, there are so many guitars you go through during a recording session. My endorsement is with Gibson Guitars but my favorite stage guitar is The Explorer.

Yeah, I do know you can go through many guitars for recording. I think the Les Paul is a great sounding guitar but I can definitely see why you use the Explorer on stage....the Les Paul is a heavy son of a bitch. Is there a guitar you used primarily for the record or do particular songs warrant the use of a different guitar? I noticed some different guitar sounds on the record but I'm not sure if that's pickup selection or effects or whatever. Let's Get Undressed has a bit of different sound, maybe a Tele on some parts but I definitely could be wrong. And when is Gibson going to release a Danko signature guitar? haha.

The primary guitars used for this album were Les Pauls (especially the one in the clip), SG's and you are right, that is a Tele on "Let's Get Undressed". I would love a Gibson signature model. In the meantime I'll be playing Jeff Waters of Annihilator's signature Flying V when it gets released! Danko Webisode #2: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=oOAY2oB50BU

You can pronounce Nick's last name like this: RAS - CUE - LEN - IX Thx for the pronunciation lesson Danko, I hate it when people mistake my name for something it's not, so I try to pronounce correctly when using other people's names. And I was just going to make a comment about you rocking a flying V in the future, but you just made that obsolete.... lol.
