Two bands that Danko profiled on the last episode of Magical World Of Rock - Death From Above and Tricky Woo are playing in my hometown next week. Methinks I'll be there.
And while I'm on the subject I wish Bartek would hurry up and post Wednesdays episode of MWOR...

I went to Opeth concert last night at The Opera House. Words cannot describe the level of musicianship and skill and talent in this band. They truly blew me away.

Well to be honest I also paid 3.30 service charges & they charge another 2.50 entrance fee at the door... But it's still worth it! ;D

for anyone planning to see Monster Magnet... You won't be dissapointed...the gig I saw in A'dam last monday evening...my g:od...Dave is a real good performer and these 2 guitarists jumping up & down on the amps made the show really alive. Starting of with my fav. "Bummer" and doing a lot of their earlier stuff...The middle part was a bit of a drag to me...perhaps it was the new stuff from "Monolitic" which I didn't check out yet...but after that they blew the roof of with Spacelord, Powertrip & Regasonic Teenage Warhead! At the end Dave did some sacrificing & smashed the old perfecteley good guitar & burned a cigarette on his knee... ;D Gluecifer wasn't really what I expected...they were okay but...a bit of a bore... The Quill we missed...because we were to late or they were early...dunno. But M.M. ruled so CHECK 'M OUT!
