It's a good month. This morning, the new QOTSA record was in the mail. I was kinda disappointed by it after the first run, but it's an immense grower and personally I think it's better than Lullabies and in the long run, probably even more entertaining than Songs For The Deaf. As I already said, I needed some getting used to it, the whole record is much more noisy than everything the band has done before. But it gets you seriously hooked after you listened to it for a few times.
check it out.

New QOTSA new Entombed new Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and as of Tuesday new White Stripes Yessssssssssss You know I couldn't care less about the White Stripes, their new song is ok but that woman still gives me the creeps. But the new QOTSA... HOT DAMN! I love the direction they went with it, and their new video...... 'I just call it delicious'! (*insert Sugar Chocolate riff here ) Oh and how about the new Velvet Revolver? I love the new single and when I saw the video I didn't even recognize Scott Weiland. Man, he's starting to look less like a junkie every day! In fact, he looks really good in that video. Kudos for him. But that's also definitely an album that will find its way into my collection at some point.

Just got totally hooked on the Detroit Cobras, especially "Baby" and "Mink Rat Or Rabbit". Very sexy.

Ooh I forgot about the new Clutch. There's lots of other good rock records out right now too. Here are some new ones I've been listening too:
Into the Exam Room - Hermano Black Blood - Bionic Bottled Lightning of an All Time High - C'mon The Black and White Album - The Hives Death Is This Communion - High On Fire The Big Dirty - Every Time I Die
or if you're in the mood for something a little more mellow/pretentious, the new Radiohead record In Rainbows is also good.
or if you're in the mood for something a little more G'd up, American Gangster by Jay-Z.
