what the hell is a hiphop forum doing on the Danko Jones forum?? Lol, now that u mention it ;D maybe we will delete this poor lonely forum. When we first went online we felt that a hip-hop section would prove worthwhile considering how popular it is here is Canada, obviously we were wrong  |

Hmm. But I remember reading somewhere that MK listens hiphop/rap... I might be wrong... have to search that interview again  Edit: I can't find it. So don't believe me |

Guess I have to come back an reprezent!
We need a hip hop just like we need rock. Well I do anyway...I was raised with so much diversity...I think if u truly love music...then u have to appreciate it all...u don't have to love everything, but u have to appreciate it as an art form...music is so involved...so blended...half the time you aren't just listening to one form...it all has roots...samples of other things. You can have rock laced with hip hop...folk laced with soul...its all beautiful. I don't love every single artist...but I love hip hop..mostly old school...and I love rock... I love it all...so if I can have all of my genres represented on a kick$$ site...then by golly why not?
P.S. Look at "Dance" its got a partial teensy housey beat at the intro...I think it rawks.
Music is great....in all it's forms!

Very nicely said spun, kinda makes one reflect a bit. I'm a major Danko junkie no doubt, but hey my tv is always tuned into the music channels...more often than not its the hip-hop offerings. i call it happy music...laced with a feel-good funky beat, stylinn out of this world...and all those beautiful laydees....its pure entertainment. No matter the genre, talent is talent, ya gotta give credit, whether it be a rip-snortin hard rawkin band like DJ all the way down to youngsters mastering their chosen instrument.

It's just that there aren't many topics on the go in this forum so that's why I suggest it be moved to the "other genres" section because... well, it IS another genre.

Now THERE is a guy we haven't seen in a while! Welcome back PTM, and ceep them post coming... I woulden't mind moving this forum, but then again we dont have any "subfolders" in any other forum so it might be confusing, or just wierd. |
