Yuh you hate everything which is commercial... I dont care about the venue I care about the band(s) I hate Pinkpop, because I like metal and metal isn't really featured on Pinkpop..It used to be, because for instance, 10 years ago they programmed cool bands like Sepultura, Dog Eat Dog (who were huge back then), RATM, Life Of Agony and Therapy?.. Now the only cool band is Danko Jones and the rest of the bands are boring as hell IMHO..

I'm glad you don't got me wrong here, I do think it's great for the band that they play Pinkpop, cuz it means that a lot of people will see em play and they also will receive lotsa media attention , but I personally don't like the festival and it's also a bit far 'n expensive.. I hope that you and everyone from the Dutch Danko Jones Army will have a great time there! Danko does play on 'metal' festivals this summer, like the WITH FULL FORCE festival in Germany and Hellfest in France

I'm not going either. It's too much money if you're interested in just seeing one band. I only go to festivals if there's a few bands I'm interested in, meaning I never go to festivals ;D Now that's not really true. Last year was the first time in years I went to a festival. Fields of Rock had a great line up!

Last year was the first time in years I went to a festival. Fields of Rock had a great line up! You saw Motörhead, Slayer and Black Sabbath? I would have gone to the festival, but I was in London to see Motörhead play @ Hammersmith Apollo/Odeon two days before..

Yes, saw them all AND also Papa Roach, Audioslave(too bad Chris Cornell can't sing) and Rammstein, who had a great show! But Slayer was the best band I saw that day. They played awesome! Although Tom's beard kind of scared me Man, they get OLD

Hehehe was there also, Motorhead was great. Never saw them before. Rammstein was also cool but a bit short, and Black Sabbath was cool to see.

Slayer is getting old indeed, but they still know how to rock! I saw them @ Graspop in 2002 and the whole field was one big moshpit ;D I saw Dave Lombardo in a drum-clinic last year. He is really cool! I sort of already knew Danko would play the Pinkpop festival. I asked Danko at the BNN-bar, and he told me: "maybe" with a smile that tells you: It's almost certain, but i'm not allowed to tell you After that I asked Dan, and he told me: I think that we are already confirmed ;D I'm pretty sure I will be at the Pinkpop festival again this year. It will be my 7th time

Whahaha, no not a hospital, but a show where he shows what he can do, and hów he does it. A review: hereTomorrow I'm going to a clinic of Rodney Holmes, Entrance is free, you only have to sign up. You can do that here.
