Its gonna be sweet man... All the better 'cuse I missed the band when they came through in the spring... hard to believe it's almost been a full year since I last saw them. I'll be there with my fiancee, and one of her best friends. Who knows I'll probably end up right behind you again cuse I know I'll be as close to the front as possible.

Great show last night!! I did NOT get the setlist but I am sure someone else will be able to give the run down. Highlights were definately Danko's on stage antics during the "fight" that broke out, Code of the Road, and Rock Shit Hot!!
Good crowd there actually, and for those that stuck around, the band came out onstage and visited with everyone. As always, nothing but the best from this group.
Nice meeting Nathan there... looking forward to next year already!!!

You guys are getting me excited now! Sounds like a good time was had by all! What about this 'friday night fight club' then? How did Danko use his rock'n roll powers to stop the brawl? Pray tell, dear Baller!

Good to see you too Baller... The fight was funny... I didn't see the actual fight, but Danko's face was awesome... Kinda like "ummmm... ya... Not sure what to do here... Guess I'll keep singing..." I personally think it was funnier when Dan wasn't ready for the next song, and Danko ran out of stage banter, so almost started encouraging another fight to make it interesting, to which JC ran over and was like "NO MAN!!! we don't need that!!!" All in all it was an awesome show... the crowd was REALLY into it... I honestly thought they would just play the whole time; it seemed like the crowd wouldn't even let them stop to talk. I thought there was a great mix of old and new songs, and even though the bouncers were really kinda stupid, it was awesome to meet the band... My fiancee was really nervous... quite funny. She's the one that took me to my first Danko show. Really funny to see her flustered like a schoolgirl with a crush when talking to Danko about the times she'd been to see the band. I also completely geeked out and got "Sleep is the Enemy"'s CD sleeve signed. MADE MY NIGHT for sure. Thanks guys, you're the best for taking the time to talk to the fans... Even if you are randomly hassled by weird people (still don't know what that guy with all the bling was trying to sell Danko either baller... ) Great first night for the Canadian tour, I hope the band got psyched for the next night in Vancouver. Another highlight was the girls shirts... pretty cool with the mantra part from "Mountain" written on it... I can't wait for the next show... BTW Dan has some pretty funny stories from Europe festivals, and travelling across Canada in the back of a cube van on his first tour at 19!

Cheers Nathan..cool post! Good to know the fight didn't get too out of hand. Did you get to hear 'Bounce' then? I really want to hear that live. Me and Beers told Danko we'd love them to play it... he said that they'll only play it in Canada but didn't say why. I'd love to hear some of Dan's stories too. What's a 'cube van'? Is that like a Ford Transit? ;D

They didn't play bounce to the best of my recollection... But it was a couple of nights ago, I had my cousin's wedding the next day, and I'm in the middle of midterms (not that I'm making excuses lol) so my memory is a little hazy. umm cube van... Its like a moving truck... maybe a 10-20 foot cube on the back of a truck... We call it a cube van here, you can rent them to move your stuff. Here's a link of the basic idea of it: www.uhaul.com/guide/index.aspx?equipment=truck-14
