My introduction to this sensational Danko Jones music was an instant joyful experience. Each and every time I load em in the playa, crank it way up...wow, it sounds better every time. Oh sure, I've admired many other music acts over the years...no flies on Jimi Hendrix...The Who....Stevie Ray Vaughan...on and on we can go. We can argue back and forth as to the merits of other artists...but for me, its a no-brainer, Danko Jones is the best....EVER!!!

Awesome...How much are tickets to get on that train? I will pay it. What I am wondering is ... why don't more people know about Danko Jones. Some people around here that I say "Have you heard WSB?" They'll say "Isnt that the "guy" who sings that lover-something song. I do however take great pride in this band and am trying to educate everyone I see. Last night, I was drinking at the bar and at least 10 people were introduced to Danko Jones. It was a great time.

Once I got email from dude I'd met (some musician, from who I'd promised to write a story about...). I was SO drunk that nite so I didn't quite remember what we had talk about and replied him that I'm sorry if I was a little annoying...
He replied me back and wrote that I was ok, I only talk A LOT about Danko Jones ;D

Once upon a time I got a lap dance from a stripper who had never heard of Danko Jones. She's heard of them now.

What I am wondering is ... why don't more people know about Danko Jones. I get the impression that more & more people know them or at least heard about them (in the Netherlands that is). Still no Danko in the popular charts though But you people don't wanna know what is at number 1 here in Holland...believe me!! Next monday (the 8th) they're finally on national television overhere, maybe that will push them through

I'd say that danko is popular enough as it is over here. Most of the people i speak to have heard of danko, and if they haven't i play some danko for em.

Yeah, here in ol' Sweden Danko is curretly on 9:th place on the rockshart, above artists like Metallica (!) and Nickelback... A nice placement for a "small" band like Danko Jones.

Sac: Where did you get those stats? Aftonbladet has Danko on 12th place right now. But they have been at 3rd place.... not too bad.

Well i can explain the main parts in clarks life for you.
He has been in and out of prison quite frequently. The last sentence against him was in 1999 when he got 14 years for smuggling 50 kilos of amfetamine and 80 kilos of marijuana from sweden to denmark.
Clark is most famous for being involved in Normalmstorgsdramat in 1973 when Janne Olsson (Clarks ex inmate) took five bank employees hostage in stockholm. Janne then demanded that Clark was to be released from prison and brought to Normalmstorg.
The most amusing part about Clark however is the different stories of what actually happened in the vault at normalmstorg. Janne has one story Clark has another and so on.
But i think you can find some info about clark and janne if you google "stockholmsyndrome"
