Yesterday “Danko” and me went to the danko jones concert in vera! It was really great, The Electric eel shock played their set before Danko Jones, and it really rocked! At the end of electric eel shock they even got the audience with them, many people were dancing screaming and rocking. And of course after that Danko Jones came on stage and played this great set!! Of course there was a great ambiance, but that extra aggression of Danko Jones which I saw at Werchter, was a little bit missing, but that’s a small thing compared to the setlist the ambiance place and all other extra’s. Vera is a small club in Groningen with a great podium without those irritating fences and so on. And of course some croudsurfing and so on, the audience threw me once or twice at the stage so there even was a stagedive!! And the aftershow ruled as always, the drummer came at the back of podium after the show, and I tried to give him a sign to come for an authograph, and he came!!, at that moment I already had my setlist so hey could sign that. I asked him if he could send Danko and JC …. … moments later JC came around but I missed him, so no authograph of him, but after that, a guy with a cap on his head came by, it was Danko!! He walked to us, cause he heard about the guy with the setlist (me) and signed my setlist, after a bit talking he went backstage. So afterall it was a great evening, with great music thanx to electric eel shock and Danko jones Thanx Danko I know you read this forum so if you read this thanx man!! and maybe give a reply ;D

yes it ruled absolutely! They show rocked,,and they playes every song i wished for,,i crowd surfed during "Never again" all was sooo great.. I saw Damon walking afterwards and i yeld his name, then some funny gesture talk was going on..if he would sign our stuff. he was gesturing "have you got a pen?" we "no sorry" but he came back and signed anyway. i must say i was a bit rambling to Danko, cause he was looking at me like Excuse me for acting like a dumbass ;D but it was fun, our other friend Rolf and me talked to JC saying it was our 2nd time (Werchter) we had some talk. Thanku so much, and come back soon!!! btw..Electric Eel Shock was great to!

Yuh! Man that's a cool setlist! You guys got in a fight over it, who could take it home? ;D BTW; I think I know what Remco means with that festival agression missing. I saw them 2 times, The first time in the Melkweg (small club) & the 2nd time at Bospop (festival tent). 2nd time was much more energetic & agressive! It's as if bigger crowds turns them into overdrive or somethin'...

Yeah i got the setlist but no fight, we are good friends but danko jones looked a bit tired so that also could be a reason why he was less agressive.

What was the point in signing up on the Email list? I still haven't heard anything from that list?
Just a couple of weeks until i get to see EES and Danko again.

Thanks for posting that reaction and setlist. We like big posts the day after a gig!
The set has been modified a bit from the earlier dates of the tour, with We Sweat Blood appearing as the opener instead of the closer, and I Want You moved into the encore set. We Sweat Blood seems like the perfect closer for them right now - but whatever, I like when they change things up.
Thanks guys!

And no bounce either *pouts*
*proceeds in Dutch for just once, sorry, I just have a practical question so no use going on in English*
