I'm remembering an old 60's song by the Boxtops...called "The Letter"...opening line is: 'Get me a ticket for an airplane' ZOOM, Halifax to Toronto 2 hours...yes!!!!

Do it, rock! Baller, you come too. Lee's Palace is in a great neighborhood called the Annex, but I don't know what the nearest hotel is.
Nice return, Geebz. When you do something, you do it big!

There are a tonne of hotels downtown but prices aren't always the cheapest. Check out www.canadianhotelguide.com. Avoid the Waverly at all costs (its cheap, but looks like it doubles as a crack house inside). If you stay on the outskirts, I think we did a hotel in Etobicoke for $89 last time (Ramada AirPort I think it was called, on Holiday Inn Drive I believe). Cheaper, but you'll pay about $30 on a cab (which, if GBV, myself and crew pull our usual routine, you could likely split with us in this massive taxi van we tend to take). Just some food for thought. "We're gonna drive"...umm...no we're not...we're partying HARD! Do it, rock! Baller, you come too. Lee's Palace is in a great neighborhood called the Annex, but I don't know what the nearest hotel is. Nice return, Geebz. When you do something, you do it big!

Thanks psycro, here is Lee's address for possible visitors: Lee's Palace/The Dance Cave is located at 529 Bloor St. W. Toronto, Canada One and a half blocks east of Bathurst. Exit the TTC at the BATHURST subway. 24hr INFOLINE 416.532.1598 www.leespalace.com/Now i must get busy looking at those hotels; I was there last summer, stayed at a nice place on Carleton, near Maple Leaf Gardens....is this close to Lee's? Here is another map/hotel site: themegacity.com/maps/downtownmap.htm

Yeah, for under 300 bucks I wouldnt mind going to T-dot. When did those flights leave??? Westjet for 277?
The cheapest I found was over 400 still.

Damn, its nice that we all got our little get-togethers. You Canadian guys in Toronto, and us Europeans in Lund. Someday it would be cool to join up, ALL of us! Some day my friends, some day...

Where the pre-show booze up?

I wanna echo that one...we'll definitely have to have a pre-game establishment to invade. While the Annex area may be most appropriate give Lee's location, I'm partial to (I've got a proposition...for you!) the Underground Garage right now on Front St...that place is all about rock.
Surely, something to be discussed as the big day approaches.

In spite all of my enthusiasm, my burning desire etc., unless a miracle happens sadly i will miss the Lee's gig this time. I am now making preparations for the next gig, whenever it may be....I will be ready, nothing can stop me!!! Excuse me, i must go cry now

If this were August 14, 2003, my shock right now would restore power to the eastern seaboard.
