I listened to those songs and I have to say, 'Trigger' and 'Christine' are really good. 'God was never on your side' I didn't like as much, maybe they shouldn't do ballads. (don't kill me now, PAT)

I can see a connection between Motorhead and Danko Jones, lyricwise that is... ;D "I wish every night was a one night stand" "come on over and do it again, just like a bad girl should"

I can see a connection between Motorhead and Danko Jones, lyricwise that is... ;D Danko and Lemmy both like to sing about sex, dunno if you're familiar with the rest of the Motörhead catalogue, because there are lotsa Motörsongs about women & sex..

Of course I know some of the classics like 'Ace of Spades', but that's it. So tell me, Philth, is this album better or as good as their previous stuff?

So tell me, Philth, is this album better or as good as their previous stuff? I think it's better than their last two records..too bad you only know Ace Of Spades...If I may suggest a few Motörrecords, besides the new one): - Inferno - Everything Louder Than Everything Else (one of the most brutal liverecordings I've heard) - 1916 (got a Grammy nomination - Orgasmatron - Ace Of Spades (whole album, not only the title track.. )

Kind of strange that I never paid much attention to their music. It's not like I'd never heard of them But I like 'Kiss of Death' so much, that I want to hear more. So thanks for the advise, Phillybilly, I'll let you know what I think.

I heard it all the way thru for the time recently. Great record. My early favourite track is "Be My Baby." Fuckin gangsta.
I think you'll also like Inferno, Loudie.

Just listened to all three tracks, I think they rock. Especially God Was Never On Your Side, it shows another side of them. Instead of only sticking to one genre (rock/speedrock) they went and explored new directions. IMHO that is what a band needs if they have the quality to pull it off. I personally think that Lemmy's voice has a tremble to it that makes me think of Johnny Cash's "hurt". It also has a rawness to it that that combines well with the tempo of the track. Very well done LEMMY!!!

Okay, I got the original now. It looks really cool and also has a little poster. I put my cat Emmy in the picture also, who I now tend to call Lemmy ;D
