I don't think there is something like a Setlist-Page for Danko yet. At least I haven't seen any... However on www.dankojones.nl there is a setlist of the Tivoli-showcase in Utrecht, posted by Napalm Lex! There are also pictures of the gig!

Hey, I love this board, although this is my first post on here, I visit regularly. It's awesome how a single sound can bring so many people together. I guess when the sound is as great as Danko's, it's easy to see why. Anyways, about setlists, JC passed me a setlist when they did their show in Edmonton, Alberta. I can give you a rundown of the list if you want it.TEXT

Hey, thanks for the welcome. I don't know when Danko Jones will grace with their music again, but I also hope it is soon. In a way, I enjoy his intimate-type shows (since people seem to be oblivious to these rock gods) but at the same time, they deserve to sell out Skyreach (where the Oilers play - I am from Edmonton).
As for the setlist, it hangs in my room beside my DJ poster. It was cool to get it, but evener cooler because JC picked me out to hand it to me. Must have been my orange DJ shirt, and my DJ toque...it was worth. And then they played with Big Sugar, I left after Danko, because NO ONE can follow them. No one.

Thanks for the welcome! I can write out the setlist, scanning it but be difficult since I do not own a scanner. Here are the songs; The Rules My Time is Now Samuel Sin Play the blues Forget My Name Sugar Chocolate(crossed off) (replaced by) I love living in the city Sound of Love Bounce Dance Lovercall Way to my heart Cadillac Mountain - great show, of course. I sportin' my DJ clothing and signing my lungs out. At one point, I yelled out "I sweat blood, Danko" and he looked at me and laughed... then said "no no no, we sweat blood" (right before they played Forget My Name..good timing by me!) then a little later, I yelled out to JC, telling him he f'in rocks! I got the always popular nod of recognition. At the end of the show, he passed my the set list...and shook my hand. Still havent washed it.

Sounds like a hell of a show, as always! I wish a had your hand man. Welcome on to the board BTW!!! JC always seems to be the calm, cool type. At one show in Sweden he stayed and talked to the fans, and the rest of the band and crew were allready in the bus, and they shouted "Come on now, man!", but he were chatting away... ;D

Thanks for that baller. Seems like it was a slightly shorter set with a little more emphasis on Born A Lion material. The gig they played in Toronto was a little more WSB-heavy, with standard openers The Rules and My Time Is Now dropped in favour of newer shit. That's way cool that Danko acknowledged you though, dude, and JC handed you that setlist!
I still don't understand why DJ opened for Big Sugar. Big Sugar are also-rans that are touring behind a greatest hits album, after which they will probably be calling it quits. Danko Jones has opened for them in the past, but roles should have been reversed for those Western Canada dates.
Or better yet, DJ should have played with somebody else entirely. Just my opinion.

The toque was bought off a website, I could never do anything like that on my own..not talented enough. The setlist wasnt great, but Edmonton has never been big DJ city. Which is bad because the concert was shorter, but good because it was more intimate and I got to interact with the band...and they opened for Big Sugar...I agree, should not have happened. When I left before Big Sugar the bouncer was like "You're missing the best part of the show" so I laughed at him and said "were you not listening just now?" Then I chanted Danko on the way out...pure class by me I love this message board.
