Ok, guys/gals, it's time to confess! Did you bought all your Danko albums, or took it from web? I've bought 'em all (Alive, BAL, WSB and singles I Want You and Bounce. Still looking for few singles. I've got also one promo single, Heartbrake's A Blessing), but I also have few songs as mp3s (thank you Sac and Rocky! ). I think, that if you just download and don't buy the music you really love, its like steeling from your best friend.

I'd rather eat a bucket full of broken glass than steal DJ's music...support, support, support!!! One little confession however, in order to take this great music everywhere i have burned a copy of each cd, you could say, i never leave home without it ;D

I own Alive and on Fire, Born a lion, We sweat blood (with woogie boogie), play the blue single, lovercall single, sound of love single, i want you single, WSB LP, and heartbreaks a blessing promo disc. I do not share the files, but have them on the comp. to listen to. I have also burned my fav. songs on one CD so I can play guitar for 80mins straight of pure Danko Jones. I confess....

Ofcourse I have bought all the albums, and today I ordered a T-shirt, a wool hat and DJ split with Gluecifer & Peter Pan Speedrock from Bad Taste. The confession is this; in order to be able to listen to all the music I love from Danko Jones I have a couple of mp3s... The Hultsfred gig (thanks bigharygrinch , and a few songs that are not on any albums, like Starlicker, Fu*ked Up, Big Bed and Mountain. As long as you buy everything you can and want to listen to I don't think its bad to have a few songs on mp3, is it? Rocky and I Like To Ball, to burn from your own bought album is defenetly not bad, its not even elegal!

I bought: - The 3 full-lengths - The I Want You CD single - a t-shirt - tickets to gigs on 4 occasions
I was given: - Sound Of Love CD single from BTR - Lovercall CD single from Wolf and Morrighan (www.dankojones.nl whatup guys!) - bootlegs from bighairygrinch (Chicago 98...GOLD! Thanks, dude) - Woogie Boogie mp3 by Sac (good look, man) - access to 2 gigs free of charge
And how about this: I found a guy on Kazaa that had mp3s of every song from WSB over a week before the record was released here in Canada, but I didn't tell anybody here that I had a copy, because I was so paranoid about cutting into Danko Jones first-week sales.
One more thing...Danko, do yourself a big favour and treat yourself to a copy of I'm Alive And On Fire. You'll love it.

I have the regular 3 cd's (A&OF, BaL, WSB) Ofcourse you can download it, but MP3 never sounds as good as the original CD's...& they deserve to be bought! The rare tracks I have all downloaded, because I don't like singles very much... And I have my self burned live CD's

I first downloaded some of his songs. I usually do that to make sure I like an album and to get to know an 'new' artist, but I immediately decided I wanted to buy all his albums! If an artist is really good I think they're worth it to spend money on. That way you suppot them! Now I'm only missing I'm Alive And On Fire but I hope it's on sale at the gig I'm going to.

There's nothing better than buying an album with an artist you haven't heard of just to find out that it rocks.
It wasn't this way with danko though because i discovered him at the hultfred festival in 2002. I went back to england to work the day after the festival ended. I got so frustrated when it took HMV a moth to get Born A Lion... but when i finally got it i played it until my housemates went crazy.

I have lots of mp3s but I also have the CDs so I don't have a problem with it. It just makes it easier for me cause I can leave the CDs in the car and stuff and still listen to Danko on the computer.
