Atom leaving Danko Jones ?

I saw Atom's announcement on twitter a few days ago that he was joining Against Me. I know he did a few dates with them in Australia earlier this year while he had some time off before playing with Danko Jones at Soundwave. He also worked on Against Me's new album when he was home in LA between Danko Jones gigs in the spring/summer.
So at first I pondered; if he was already a part time member of Against Me, why announce now that he's joining them? It seems to imply that he's going to be a full time member.
... Will Danko be having a 'stand in' temporary drummer for Uproar while Atom plays with AM?..
Today, on Rocket from the Crypt's facebook page, I saw that they had linked a status update from Atom which said that this week he would be joining AM, talking about playing with RFTC... and playing his 'last shows with Danko Jones'
But I'm wondering why Danko Jones haven't announced a new drummer when their Uproar dates start in 5 day's time, and they also haven't announced any cancellations.

It's strange how they haven't announced anything yet. The Uproar tour starts tomorrow evening. It looks like they've persuaded Atom to stay for the tour, which ends on September 15th.

Regarding the Against Me situation, Laura is playing solo for a few dates and Against Me (as a full band) are scheduled to play a couple of festivals on the 15th and 21st of September.
So maybe Laura's playing solo on September 15th now too?

Earlier this week there was a batch of new dates for Against Me (the band) posted on their facebook page... which included a show on 14th September (in Chicago, at the Cobra Lounge). The post has now been removed.

These would have overlapped with the last couple of Danko Jones' Uproar shows. But it seems as though Against Me are still looking for an available bass player, so the first few dates of their tour might have to be Laura playing solo acoustic shows again.
It does look like something has been worked out with Atom, as I've since seen a few Uproar photo's from the August 13th show, and Atom was on stage with them. I'm disappointed that I didn't get to see him play with Danko Jones, but I'm curious to see who replaces him as drummer for the band.
Will they even get another 'permanent' drummer at this point? There's nothing but the Bandit show in Sweden announced for the rest of this autumn/winter, so are Danko Jones planning to take a break/ going on hiatus?

I think Atom's last show with the band was in Berlin on August 11th.
The drummer for the Uproar-tour is called Rich Knox from Toronto.
I believe the band is waiting for an official announcement till they find a permanent drummer.

Thanks Enomar. From some youtube videos and twitpics I've seen, It looks like Atom did the first two uproar shows then Rich joined them on the 3rd show. I came here hoping someone would know something as I got blocked on twitter for asking if Atom was still in the band when I saw RTFC's message. Rich is doing the Scandinavian tour too, but JC recently told someone on twitter that they won't be making any announcement. People are unwittingly asking about Atom or the new drummer and either getting ignored or getting very defensive replies, and I hear people are getting blocked for asking polite questions too. The whole thing is just weird.

JC wrote on twitter that Atom is not with the band anymore BUT there won't be an announcment on the website... Berlin was the last show with Atom as far as I know. Not sure if Rich will be a full time member or is just there for touring and they are still looking for someone else?! That could be a reason... DJ and drummers is a miracle. Still DJ and JC are there so it is the same band!
