I hope this doesn't turn out to be like when Hootie & The Blowjob covered "I Go Blind" by 5440 and now everyone thinks that Hootie wrote that song. Neil Osborne comments when they play it live now that they're playing a cover of a song they wrote.
I know an emo kid who loves Jack White and hates Danko Jones so isn't this quite the ironic twist. The band they love covered a band they hate. Sucker!

The rock radio station here in London, Canada (FM96) actually played that live version of The Raconteurs' Samuel Sin. The DJ played some of the Danko original, followed by the full Rac's version. The guy said Danko sent it to him in an email, and it's really cool, you gotta hear it. It was way cool to hear both songs on the radio.

Cool version. Sounds a bit like ghostbusters at the end, but i like it...I've never experienced a band i love cover a band i love!
