With the help of our friends at MySpace, we can now present a full preview of 'Never Too Loud". Head over to myspace.com/dankojones right away! The preview lasts until next week when the album is out.

the new record is delicious!! i was a bit afraid about the new sound but it simply rocks! maybe is a departure from the last records but i think it´s an excellent evolution! i have already pre-ordered the record and i'm already addicted to the ny space preview. Congratulations guys!

Completely agree with all of the above... I was gonna do the preorder, but with midterms and papers, I figured it'd be better for me NOT to rock my head off, and wait 'til march

hm. for me, there's none of the sensation I had with every previous danko record. it all sounds so nice, it's weird. maybe it takes a few more spins, but I'm kinda disappointed up to now.

Wow, what a treat this is! I've heard the new record twice now - once at my computer and the second time on my ipod after I ripped it to mp3 format. Never Too Loud is a great record! I'm actually a little relieved because, truth be told, I was a little disappointed with Code Of The Road. I mean, it's okay...I just didn't think it popped off like like the usual Danko Jones song does. I started to get really pumped for the new record after I heard Take Me Home though. I love that song even though it's completely atypical for them. Another song that sounds nothing like Danko Jones (but still rocks) is Forest For The Trees. The riff is total Sabbath and it's way longer than the typical DJ song. Love Pete Stahl's vocals towards the end. Also, I'm great at misinterpreting song lyrics, but is this one about Damon? Other thoughts: Early favourites: Still In Highschool and Take Me Home. Ravenous jacks the riff from Drop Your Lip Bomb, and this incarnation of the song sounds more like Lizzy than ever. I'm not sure how, but they've done a great job making sure this record hasn't leaked to the net. Or if it did I wan't able to find it. All I know is I had We Sweat Blood a week and a day before it was released in Europe, and Sleep Is The Enemy weeks before it was officially released. Now, just days before the official release, I got nothing but a Myspace rip. I think Danko channeled the spirit of Bon Scott for the song Never Too Loud. Going deaf is a son of a bitch. Congratulations to the band on another great record!

Just listened trough the tracks, not as loud as I had hoped, but no disappointment here. Never too Loud and City Streets really are favorites in my eyes.
[edit] add let's get undressed to that line of favorites!

No no no! >_< This is not okey! I want old Danko back! Maybe I had too high expectations on this album but no, I think they could have done better too lame, me no love. Still, I can't wait to see them in April, probably the songs will do better live. Bah, now I'm sad.

I admit, it isn't as hard as I thought it was going to be, but there are some instant Danko classics on there...and the more I listen, the more I like it! I've had "let's get undressed" in my head all week!
Looking forward to see how the songs translate live next week!

Never Too Loud is great! I heard some new songs live about two weeks ago and they sounded amazing.
My favorites are Code of The Road and Your tears My smile.
I love this album.
