I found whilest growing up that these 2 genres of music were at eachother's throats. Rockers didn't like Hip Hop and Hip Hoppers didn't like Rock. I am at a point in my life where you know what, music is just music, I appreciate the variety and the soul of music. It's kind of nice that Aerosmith & Run DMC introduced the 2, so that today a hybrid of both has formed. There's the good, the bad and the ugly, but all in all I appreciate that music has evolved into so many genres and it hasn't grown stale in any way. Music soothes us, makes us boogie, and has a lot of effect on our emotions. All and all it's fahbulous stuff and I believe we should appreciate it for the simple pleasures it gives us, instead of trying to label which genre is better. It's all good...baby baybaaay!

Yep spun your right, its was the RunDMC/ Aerosmith event that changed the music industry and brought out tons of cross-over stars like Kid Rock, Rage etc. etc. Until that major turning point music had died in my soul, now its back with a vengence. Then along came Mr Jones, my oh my....... ;D

i've decided today that i was going to come up with another genre of music ...it's going to be called EVERYTHING music..it's going to be about every sort of music coming together...rock and hiphop...jazz and country..everything...counrty rock and hiphop..heheh..it think it''ll be cool
