24-Sep Milwaukee WI- The Rave *with Turbonegro 25-Sep Minneapolis MN- Fine Line Cafe *with Turbonegro 27-Sep Lawrence KS- Bottleneck *with Turbonegro 28-Sep Dallas TX- Tree's *with Turbonegro 29-Sep Austin TX- Emo's *with Turbonegro ......................................................................................... I took a few minutes to browse the websites for all these clubs. As expected there is little or no info concerning Danko on any of them, so I think that they are all in for a big surprise. They are all big clubs, booking big acts, and featuring many different shows per day. I'd love to be a fly on the wall about 10 seconds after the band rips through their 1st selection, shock and awe Danko Jones style

Damn rock, you part psychic? You started this thread just hours before a bunch more U.S. dates were announced!
On an exciting personal note, two of them are within driving distance for me! Buffalo and Detroit. I'm considering driving down to the Detroit show on the 3rd. That would mean two straight Fridays seeing the fellas play. I just don't like the idea of facing Friday border traffic...

Ya T-man those new dates came available shortly after my post, i know that we all get these e-mails from Dobbs, but here are the new dates just in case some stranger staggers into here: .................................................................................. October 01 USA St. Louis - Duck Room 02 USA Chicago IL - Bottom Lounge 03 USA Detroit MI - Shelter 05 USA Buffalo NY - Mohawk Place 06 USA New York NY - Sin-e' 07 USA Boston -Paradise front room .................................................................................. Anyway i actually sent an e-mail to the Rave in Milwaukee, telling them a bit about the band, and, surprislingly I received a reply from them, short but positive, they seem to be aware of what they have on their hands......As for your trips, it would be very hard to pass up on all those chances, nearest one to me is Boston, but I'm still waiting for the Canadian tour to be announced, fingers and toes are crossed.

Yeah well all they have left open for 2003 are the three weeks after the Toronto show Oct. 10th! Now we know from recent touring schedules that they can do a whole lot of shows in 3 weeks -- BUT I'm going to start a nasty rumour (based on an article I read at chart attack) that they could eat up some if not all those 3 weeks shooting a video for the second single from WSB which will likely be Dance. Take that with a grain of salt because some of the information in the article I read was out-dated and erroneous. You can read it here: www.chartattack.com/DAMN/2003/09/0210.cfmBut on the plus side, Dobbs ended his email with the line "more dates to be announced soon." Keep those fingers crossed Rocky!
