Cool Maarit, I know you like Nine, and I would love to see them again! The only time I have seen them was as warmups for Motörhead her in my town. Good gig, but the rig was set to so high volume (it was Motörheads rig) so the boys almost got deaf! ;D I saw them last year but they had only one guitar player then and because of that they didn't sound as good as they should... Other than that the gig was great!  Hopefully they'll play also older songs when I see them in December... |

Three weeks or something until the next danko gig. I dunno what i'm going to do in between. Bullet are playing tonight, but it's not fun seing them without my friends from home. Entombed are playing soon, i might go see 'em.

i just realized i have got the night off work on New Year's Eve! woot!
Come rock in the new year with Default and Theory of a Deadman! that's where i'll be....
and in February, Nickelback, Staind, and Three Days Grace will be here.

Sorry, but I have to..... Lol, Milkei...pretty much sums up my feelings as well...Apparently the standing joke with Canadian music makers is just how much do you hate these guys.  I've heard some pretty scorching remarks on the tube, its spreading.....but what to do, what to say? They sell like crazy, vids on tv endlessly...that's why we need DJ to dominate, rule the rawk world...they should..they will  |

i've been a Nickelback fan since 1996, when they released Curb the first time. i had seen them play small bars back then, and i'm still a fan - they haven't changed much at all. they still rock.
most of you guys probably hadn't heard of them in Europe until 2000, when they released The State in the USA, a year after it was released in Canada.

heh, heh; if I see that Nickelnack-head on television I just get SOOOOO t-i-r-e-d.....it all sounds so easy & familiair...those troubled-teenager-kinda-lyrics full of self complaint  Man...a fan since '96 ;D? I know those mid-'90's where a sloppy time as for rock-music was concerned but... It's not that they completely suck but to me it's just saltless...I think they are a typical post-grunge band that had the "luck" to become succesfull when grunge became mainstream and died... There are a lot of other examples... I hated that Stone Temple Pilots to! "The I Wanna sound like Cobain-Vedder style" and that guy even had a phoney goatee to look like Layne Staley from Alice In Chains....it really pissed me off back then!  Now I'm really glad that rock is all about fun again!! If I wanna sulk in puberal-self-pitty I'll buy Avril instead cause she's better lookin' ;D (Maybe Nickelnack writes her music??  ) |
