Come rock in the new year with Default and Theory of a Deadman! that's where i'll be.... and in February, Nickelback, Staind, and Three Days Grace will be here. Grinch I'm a little surprised! Default, Theory of a Deadman, Staind, 3 Days Grace and yes, Nickleback are all the kind of generic modern-rock radio jukebox bands that Danko Jones is the perfect antidote for! That kind of rock is like nails on a chalkboard to me, and Danko himself has been known to take shots at that stuff. But whatever, to each his own I guess!

I think the Grinch is teasing us a bit... ;D Next thing he's gonna come up with is CELINE DION mark my words... Hell, I even like french-chansons!

i don't trash your musical tastes, so why are you so hard on mine?
i was in high school when the whole grunge scene hit, and i loved it all - pearl jam, mother love bone, alice in chains, nirvana, soundgarden, stone temple pilots, and so on. i was also big on punk in those days - never did much care for ballads.
Billy Talent is not generic - they are punk circa 1977 in their sound, but are very good musicians so it sounds great.
there are a lot of middle of the road bands who are trying to get a harder edge to emulate the good bands who rock. Avril is not a hard rocker, but she tries to be lumped in as one. i am not a fan of hers.
what next? are you going to trash me for being a big Treble Charger fan too?
you have your opinions and i have mine, but if i don't have anything nice to say i don't say anything. you have to make sure everyone hears yours.
give it a rest already, eh?

Sac: I have a tendency of loosing all my danko merch (merch stealing gnomes), if i didn't i would also display it with my avatar. But for now you'll have to watch good old Clark instead.

I was big into that early grunge stuff too. Early Pearl Jam and Soundgarden...remember Mudhoney? They rocked. And of course Nirvana is still one of my favourites. And I agree with you on Billy Talent. They're one of the few Canadian rock bands I'm really excited about. Please feel free to trash my music at any time. Toppler does.

Tidy: Well i don't really trash your music, i just have slightly different opinions, and i like to share my opinions with other people. Believe it or not but i have seen The Hives live 5 times. The thing that made me fed up with em was that every single one of their shows were the same.
With Danko, Hellacopters, bob hund (just to name a few of my fav. bands) you always get a new gig everytime.

you have your opinions and i have mine, but if i don't have anything nice to say i don't say anything. Dunno 'bout that hairy, What's the point of a discussion-board if you only say nice things all the time? I think it would be quite a bore... If I make a post, I'd rather have trashing comments than utter silence... If you want to be a 100% sure that you get positive reactions about Nickelback you're at the wrong site, because I'm not going to www.snickelsnack.com for positive reviews about DJ either But hey, you like DJ right? So you must be a rockin' guy man! Don't mind if you're a fan of Julio Iglesias in your free time! (JUST JOKING NOW ;D ;D) As I said, I listen to french chansons a lot but nobody seems to care you know? Found any good bootlegs BTW? Love that Hultsfred show so much man... I'm also a lot on that Soulseek, it's really cool!!! PEACE

Dunno yet, if I do have enough energy to go there.. but if I do, it would be great to meet Maarit there!
