Darkness is a parodic thing on anything pre 80's or something, but they rock though..
myself here is hoping to ad some gigs to my list, i guess that the beginning of a year is always somewhat easy going..

The Darkness rocked last Monday. That was easily the most amazing show I have ever seen, Justin and Dan Hawkings have the chemistry of Mick and Keath. They are so good live, I would advise everyone to see them.

holy shit did Billy Talent ever rock Silverados' tonight
the first warmup band Inwards Eye kicked ass, but the second band sounded like Iron Maiden with Gwen Stefani singing. can you imagine? Billy Talent kicked ass - short show, but damn good- i was disappointed they didn't play "waithing room"
too bad Jay wasn't there - i would have bought him a drink

Looking forward to...MARCH
March 3 - Edmonton - Danko Jones March 23 - Edmonton - Metallica
Should be sweet. . .of course, one will outshine the other, but...Metallica never stood a chance winning "concert of the month" when they play after Danko. Poor planning by their manager. ;D
