It's looking more and more like I'll be checking out Detroit gig which is happening at the Shelter, a place Eminem mentioned a couple times in 8 Mile. It ain't the greatest neighborhood but it should be a fairly up close and personal show. Plus Casino Windsor is just a few minutes away, heh.
Cool sighting GBV. I've seen JC mingling before and after a couple of Danko shows. Couldn't say whatup though, he always seemed to be talking to chicks. Motherfuck, why didn't I become a rock star?

I talked to him for a few.
Outside the show, some dude was giving out some snazzy Danko Jones stickers. Think I made off with about 25. Yeah.

You driving from London for that show? Where is the shelter? I've been to St. Andrew's Hall and State Theatre in Detroit -- near there?

Yep, driving from London. You've been to St. Andrews? The Shelter is downstairs.
