If you like guns n' roses and all your cd's/records are scratched , fear not, a greatest hits release is on the way: .....................................................................................
Guns N' Roses are set to deliver a new album, but it's not the one fans have been waiting for.
The band, who have been working on their long-delayed studio album "Chinese Democracy," will be releasing a hits package simply titled "Greatest Hits" on March 23.
Most of the material on the compilation is culled from 1987's "Appetite For Destruction" and 1991's "Use Your Illusion I & II."
The last studio release from the band was the 1993 covers album "The Spaghetti Incident?"
Meanwhile, Australia's Undercover News reports fans of the band are protesting the decision by Universal Music to issue the hits album without, as they say, the approval of lead singer Axl Rose.
Here's the "Greatest Hits" tracklisting:
1. Welcome To The Jungle 2. Live And Let Die 3. Knockin' On Heaven's Door 4. Sweet Child Of Mine 5. November Rain 6. Patience 7. Paradise City 8. Civil War 9. You Could Be Mine 10. Don't Cry (original) 11. Yesterdays 12. Ain't It Fun 13. Since I Don't Have You 14. Sympathy For The Devil

I like some of the early GNR stuff, but Axel Rose is a tool. Like Slash said, Axel's a great rock singer when he has his shit together, but you could sit around forever waiting for him to get his shit together.
And did anyone see the new "Guns N Roses" on the MTV video awards last year? They did Welcome To The Jungle, Paradise City and one of the new Chinese Democracy songs in the middle. The new song was a god-awful piece of shit. Like a bad November Rain knockoff - as if the original wasn't bad enough.
Chinese Democracy can stay in the vaults for all I care. When I want to hear the real Guns N Roses, I'll throw on Mr. Brownstone.

Who needs this album?? And who put Sympathy For The Devil on the album? GnR's version of Sympathy For The Devil is one of the worst cover songs i've heard.

Heard on the radio G&R themselves weren't informed about the release. So they were pissed off as usual.
I allways liked Apetite for Distr, the rest mwah...

Greatest hits...I guess for them they were 'hits.' I can't wait until the music industry stops putting out greatest and allows people to download music on the inter.... wait a minute. Bunch of communists!
