I just want to say, if you ever have the chance to check out a dj premier show, run..dont walk to pick up your tickets. The man is a phenomenal entertainer. I saw him @ revival a couple weeks ago...i was blown away. He did at least an hour set, but went over...just kept playing as the crowd kept cheering. He brought along dj scratch and dj dummy?(never heard of) and also K-Cut all for the low price of $20 at the door. Steal! Apparently RZA and Common were in the crowd somewhere, I didnt see them though. Good old hip hop, rotating dj play and everybody singing the words to every song made for good vibes. Fantastic show!

www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/zanelowe/ and click on 'hear tuesday show' if you want to hear it. the interview starts about 55 mins in, freestyle madness at about 1.16. the show's up on line for a week only. QOTSA, Hives, Band Of Horses and Sons and Daughters tracks on the show too..for anyone who wants to listen to the rest of the show (tracklisting available on the page so you can fast forward if you want.) just in case anyone's wondering...i don't get paid to promote this ;D; it's just that i love to listen to this show ( i don't like to watch the soaps on tv,)...Huw and Bethan on a thursday too ( just heard Cardiff's Los Campesinos new b-side...an Arcade Fire-esque, raucously good cover of Black Flag's 'damage'. ;D) now i'm online at home i'm gonna check out the chatroom when the shows are on and give Danko a plug...anyone else up for that?
