Muddy Waters summed it all up when he wrote a song called The Blues Had A Baby And They Named it Rock & Roll.
If I ever tried to list my favourite songs of all time, I'm pretty sure his Two Trains Running would be on it.

I like Elmore James a lot...
He had big influence on Jimi Hendrix!
But I like all of these guys...
BB King, John Lee Hooker, Muddie Waters, Howlin Wolf, Robert Johnson, Buddy Guy, ehm...I just like blues! ;D

I have some albums from Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, and Robert Johnson. The amazing thing is when you listen to these guys and then put on a Stones or a Led Zep record you can hear it right away! Those guys "lifted" all their licks from the blues masters (and they freely admit it).
