Last nights show in Kelowna was pretty sweet. The people were loving Danko Jones. A one point Danko got the crowd to cheer for Nickelback and then he closed his eyes and pretended all the cheering was for him.  Most mornings are spent watching this massive stage going together.  For those who don't know most of the large venues in Canada are hockey rinks, who's teams represent pagan gods and giant goblets  Danko Jones prepares his mind seconds before taking the stage  The ramp to Rock glory  JC loves his new slippers more then you |

More amazing pics...Thanks again "parkdale"  Obviously you are more than just a fan, in fact you are part of the tour entourage as your location says: 'on the bus', not to mention these up close photos...so fess up dude, who are you anyways  a. Danko's new drummer-Dan b. Danko's crew c. Nickelback crew d. Live crew e. promoter or (God fobid- record agent  ) if the answer is a, c, d, or e are you impressed with Danko yet if its e- nice job, ditto for b.. if its c-we'll forgive ya...and man, we are glad you came along...keep it coming...ttfn  Note: i think you are..'a' simply coz we haven't seen his mug yet...could you please arrange some sort of photo with all 3 Jones members together, use a mirror if necessary ;D |

Wow look how nice the people are in this forum. I think I might put my feet up in here and stick around for a while. I'm just a jack of all trades in the touring circuit. Tour managing bands like the The Illuminati, C'mon and Goat Horn. And now I've been invited along as a back line tech for the Danko Jones tour. The first big show of the tour went off at the GM place Friday night. 12000+  The assembly and disassembly of this stage every day is very compelling to watch. It's like watching the Egyptians build the pyramids  Hello my name is Danko Jones ...  Dan Cornelius laying beat to the backbone  Who said my name???  This heart grows stronger ... The shows are going really well and everyone couldn't be happier. Vancouver really brought out people looking for a good time. Here's a little tip, approaching a random tour bus and knocking on the door looking for Nickelback really frightens the people inside bus. ... Ok maybe only me. But I will open thew door if you're standing there with two large pizzas in your hand Special thanks to Nicole for doing me a favour and taking the live shots for me, that was very Canadian of you. |
