Has anyone heard any news on Danko doing Canada? I know, I know, he was just here with Nickelback, but I was in the happiest place on earth ( well for my kids anyway)! And for all you Danko fans, you should really check out Rocketface. What a great band!!! I was lucky enough to see them live a couple nights ago with The Trews. And the Danko connection is that the bassist, David, from Rocketface, sang backup vocals on SITE. And Danko, please come to REGINA, SK!!!!!!

Didn't know David from Rocketface provided backing vox on SITE, but I do like Rocketface. Another connection they have is Rocketface opened for Danko Jones at a show they played here in Ontario last October. I love their song 'Pack Of Lies.'

Was Rocketface the opening band at the Lee's Palace show or did you see them perform at the show in London (or both), Tidy? I never could remember who opened the Lee's Palace show. In fact, I hardly remember the opening band's set. I only really remember Priestess and Danko Jones rocking my socks off.

I think Brutal Knights were before Priestess and Danko at Lee's. Rocketface is pretty good, nothing really original but pretty decent. The most orignial part about them is that the drummer sings but again that's not totally new. www.myspace.com/rocketface to download their single which is pretty catchy.

Rocketface opened at the show in London, then C'mon (they're great!) and then Danko played. Personally I wasn't that excited about Rocketface.

Right, the Brutal Knights. It's not just a clever name. They were brutal.
In that case, I've never heard of Rocketface before. But the songs on their Myspace site are pretty cool. Thanks for the link, Brown Bomber.
I'd like to see C'Mon live. I still haven't. It might persuade me to buy one of their records. From what I've heard of C'Mon, they're alright, but I like all of the other bands that Ian Blurton's been in more - Change of Heart, Blurtonia and Bionic.

Once you've seen C'mon live, you'll want their records for sure! Unless you see them play when they're really drunk
