Over the past couple of weeks we have been truly blessed with the addition of several new members from Danko's favourite part of the world...Europe. Its easy to understand why the band prefers to perform there considering the intense loyality and praise they receive. There is much Danko Luv here in Canada as well, its just such a vast country its hard to put even a few eggs in the same basket...and the media here, well that's what really hurts....all pop and hip-hip . Further... how or perhaps why is that all u wonderful folks are so proficient with the English language....is this a mandatory subject in school? Man here in Canada we have 2 official languages ( English & French ) and although we all take French in school, most of us couldn't even begin to post in that language ( he speaks for himself here ). Anyway, regardless, its all good thanks to u all, rawk, and strut. Cheers.

English language....is this a mandatory subject in school? Yes, it is, at least here in Finland. We start english lessons when we're about 9 years old. And swedish when we are 13. And if you want, some other language when we are 14. Like french (i did) ;D

Well that explains why all those Finnish and Swedish hockey players speak perfect english. Not so for the Russians and Czechs however, they only know a few words like: chicks, moola, chicks, clubs, chicks... ;D

Hey everyone ! I'm Rita from Portugal, and this thread got my attention. I saw Danko twice and I was hooked from the first minutes i saw them perform. Danko is, for lack of better works, amazing ! I'm very happy that Danko visits Europe so much, and that they came to visit Portugal, otherwise I would be missing out on a awesome rock show ! I saw two times in two months, so I consider myself very lucky

Danko made quite an impact here when he performed in Portugal (for the first time) in a summer festival in August, no one knew him (i myself only knew a couple of songs) and by the second song the everyone was "on his side" as he said, loving it. So there's no doubt there are quite a few portuguese danko fans, maybe they're just shy Anyway, it's good to be here Thanks for making me feel welcome

I'm glad too that he comes to Europe so much, otherwise I wouldn't be able to see him (which I actually haven't yet anyways)! 'Tis weird though, since Danko's becoming quite a hit here in Holland (at least more and more people know him), to know he's underapprectiated in his own country. *cuddles Holland* Silly people, those Canedians.

I'd like to nominate, then, Danko Jones for the opening ceremonies of Euro 2004 in Portugal next summer.

They were kind of big on the continent to actually, especially during the grunge-days. Did lots of touring over here!
Don't know about that "George W-dude" though... ;D
