GOD DAMIT Tidy! Devildriver kicks ass! I downloaded a few songs and I like them alot! They are kinda Korn-ish, but with a much heavier sound and more HC into it... I'm usualy not fond of nu-metal bands like Korn or *shrugs* Linkin Park, but these fellas are too good to be disliked... This will defenetly be a album worth buying. Where are they from, and do you listen to them much? Devildriver kick lots of ass i saw them at the Opeth show and thought they were great. I wouldn't bunch Devildriver together with the other nu-metal bands. They are much more hardcore and speed metal. That's why the singer Dez, left Coal Chamber. He wanted something much heavier and much more brutal...hence...Devildriver. CD's I've bought recently: Incubus - A Crow Left of the Murder (excellent) Evanescence - Fallen Faith No More - Greates Hits (not feeling it no more)

Sac, dude I just noticed your post, that's why I didn't respond before now. I figured you might like DD fab107 is right, the vocalist for Devildriver (Dez) formed the band because he wanted to get away from nu-metal. The song "I Dreamed I Died" has definite nu-metal tendancies, but for the most part, they are more smashmouth than the rest of the genre. To answer your question - I've been listening to it a lot. I downloaded the whole record because of a song they originally released on the Freddy vs. Jason soundtrack called "Swinging The Dead." It's still my favourite song, but I also love "Nothing's Wrong" and "I Could Care Less."

I got Monolithic baby because I like Monster Magnet but I think it's just okay.
I got The Bronx because I thought I was going to see them open for DJ and it fucking smokes!
I am now officially disappointed they're no longer on the bill March 12th.
