Welcome to the board, Grinch!
Dude I'd love to hear that Chicago 98 gig! I've been a DJ fan since 99 so that stuff would be gold to me! Especially that version of Love Is Unkind, which is one of my favourite tunes.
The Hultsfred files sound great -- can you post the Chicago one on that tecknozone site too?

Tidyman seems to be the only one so far who knows how Bit Torrent works....there are links at the bottom of that site tecknozone.kicks-ass.net:6969/index.htmlwhere you can actually download one of the BT client programs. the way it works is one person seeds the file(the seeder), and as "leechers" start to download the file bit by bit(usually in 256KB chunks) they actually share the parts they have downloaded with the other leechers. so each leecher is actually downloading different parts of the file from as many people as possible, and it speeds up the transfer of data to maximize your bandwidth. so if you keep the torrent window open after you have downloaded it, it will make it exponentially faster for others who want to get the file also, as the leechers become seeders after they get the whole file. this program is great for large files because you can get them faster from multiple sources simultaneously without hazard of data corruption because it all goes through hash checks to ensure corrupted data is discarded, and you don't necessarily have to compress files to downgrade their quality. i'll post the '98 show too....it would be nice if you guys would keep a seed for the Hultsfred show open too for others - reopening the torrent will start seeding it if you already downloaded it...

Yeah Jacky, I'm having the same problem with the file, it seems that nothing is compatiable with it. Drats, we'll figure it out yet, it sounds too good to pass up. BTW, welcome to the board, The Netherlands must be a rawkin spot! Danko's coming soon, your probably ready for them for sure Hi Rocky & all the others! Yes rock, We're rockin' in Holland! ;D I'v tickets for the Melkweg-show in A'dam!! Looking forward to that!!! It's gonna be my third DJ-gig! By the way I think I know how to download Hultsfred, altough I still get an error. I think it's because Bighairy is not online at the moment i'm trying this. Well as I say this the download is starting to run.....very.....slow!! As Bighairy said, you have to download that Bittorrent stuff first. I'm on 3% now!!!! When I'm ready downloading, Ill try explain again how I did it.

Allright, it's 4 hours later now and i'm bouncing through the room on the Hultfred show It takes a while but is worth it! (ain't life good) Thanks for this Bigheary; thankyouthankyouthankyou Sorry for that... I will try and put the stuff I have up there as well, but it will take some time, because I have to covert it first and that upload ain't so easy I think. To the people who are having difficulties with the downloading; 1.Take the second link from (the one that says TEXT at the end) 2.Sign up there 3.Scroll down (and you will find the show) 4.then click on that bit cunjurer link (see above) 5.download the 1 that says Windows Installer 6.Unrap (I don't know if this is proper english) it first 7.Go back to that first link (The Mp3 files) 8.Try open them 9.you'll get your list with programms, and ofcourse it's your Torrent 3.3 program you've just downloaded. 10.If you get errors, ignore them, download will start after a minute or so. :-/I think nobody will undstand it anyway but don't give up now!!

Grinch many thanks for the great posting! Those concerts are hot! The Chicago gig isn't great sound quality, but what it lacks in clarity it more than makes up for in content. There are five tracks that have never been recorded and/or released! And that 8 minute version of Love Is Unkind is a real treat! For those having trouble getting the downloads to work, remember to download the program called Bit Torrent first, as Grinch and Jacky said. Here again is the link Grinch posted: bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/download.htmlThanks again to bighairygrinch and jacky from judy and welcome aboard, guys!

ok now that tracker seems to be down so i moved both seeds to another tracker(i'm not having much luck with alternative trackers since suprnova.org's trackers went down last week) trinity.filesoup.com:6969/index.htmllinks to both files are there....anyone else feel free to set up some of your own seeds for your live shows - it doesn't matter what format they are in.

I will Bigheary... It's just...does I have to stay online all the time to seed the shows, once I posted them? Also when I put them on in Wav (not Mp3), will uploading/downloading eventually take longer?? Is anybody interested in both my shows? they are not complete shows you know... TRACKLISTS: LOWLANDS 2002: 1.Sugar Chocolate 2.Sound Of Love 3.Bounce 4.Never Again 5.Lover Call 6.Mango Kid 7.Papa PINKPOP 2003: 1.Play The Blues 2.Soul On Ice 3.Sugar Chocolate 4.Sound Of Love 5.Bounce 6.Lover Call 7.Way To My Heart 8.Mountain Both sound realy cool!! If there's more then 5 people interested I will try and do my best, oke?

yes you would have to stay online to share the files. the way Bt works is when you finish downloading files, you become a seeder, and help everyone else get the files too, and the download goes faster.
But nobody helped me seed the shows i seeded - they downloaded the files, and then left. so instead of everyone uploading a few MB to others, i had to upload a couple GB to all of you. the decent thing to do is to upload as much as you download before exiting.

I actually stayed on a while after I was ready downloading, but there was no upload starting so I assumed, there was nobody else downloading at the time. Once I've put it up there myself, I will give a signal when I'm online. Altough it will be way after midnight to people living at the other side of the globe. Are you interested in these recordings Grinch? I owe you one... (Hultsfred)

Aside from giving us a couple of cool shows, you've also given us a little lesson on Bit Torrent. Thanks once again Grinch!

I did stay online for some time after I finished downloading the Fireside show files but I didn't see anyone starting to upload. And I haven't been able to access the site since! (I'm trying right now, but no... Is it working? ) I don't have any shows to offer anyway... I feel a bit bad about this now.
