because we had a sponsored tour, with more accent on advertising then on music.

HOLD ON!!!!
The show is NOT $25.
It's $16.50 in advance and $20 at the door.
Maybe there are service charges and there's a dollar extra that is going to charity but it's not $25.
Hope to see you all there. It'll be a killer night. I can't wait to go home and do it.
Danko

Even 25 dollars seems a reasonable price to me. That's about 17 euro. I payed 20 euro for the Antidote ticket and I'm not complaining. Hell, I would have payed 25 euro if John Garcia was there.

Ticket for the berlin antidote-show was 25€, which is quite the maximum I'd pay for a normal concert.

Are we joking around here? Normal concerts for Canadians cost between 50 and 150 dollars. Those are for the "great shows" like Nickelback, Black Eyed Peas, etc. I dont know about you guys, but paying 20-25 dollars to see Danko Jones play... sounds like a pretty sweet deal! I'd consider paying the flight to Toronto AND the ticket price just to see this one. Assuming Tidy arranges for a limo from the airport to bring to his place, which of course, I'd be staying in, and providing he had all the beer and rye an Albertan brother could ask for. Sounds fair to me!

Are we joking around here? Normal concerts for Canadians cost between 50 and 150 dollars. Those are for the "great shows" like Nickelback, Black Eyed Peas, etc. I don't even consider this kind of shows when talking about ticket prices, since this is just waaaaaaaaaaaaay out of my league. 25 bucks for a show eats up almost 10% of what I live on per month (rent not counted). if the show is out of town, you can easily double that. 150 bucks for a concert is just greedy. Even if there are High End Effects und Pyros that put a volcano to shame (which I can perfectly do without), tickets that are 50€ should cover expenses and allow decent profit. But that's not the topic here. I do think that 25€ for a 4-band show is a decent price. that doesn't change a thing about me being hardly able to afford it.
